Even before setting foot in France, you will need to sort out a host of official documents.

Below is a list of some of the most important documents to bring with you when you move to France:

• Birth certificate (with the names of both parents)
• Marriage certificate (if applicable)

• Proof of employment
• Current employment contract (if applicable)
