Even though most French banks have a national presence, your account will be assigned to a specific branch (agence). It is worth choosing a branch that is close to where you will be living or working, as many services can only be accessed directly through your branch. For example, cheque books can only be collected from your home branch.
At your branch you will be assigned a Relationship Manager (called a chargé de clientèle, conseiller de clientèle, or chargé de compte).
Once you have an account, you will receive a monthly bank statement (relevé de compte). This will record all the transactions that have taken place over the previous month on your account and state your monthly balance (solde).
Most banks now offer a full range of internet and telephone banking services.
We will remind you of each turning point as you prepare for your relocation.
Because we are the world's local bank, we can make your move to France much more easy.
